I built Miranda AI as an experience for people that love fashion and love the character that this app was inspired by and I care about being straightforward with you. Here's exactly what happens with your data.

What I collect

• Basic usage data through Vercel Analytics: page views, device type, browser, and country. This is aggregate and anonymized — I can't identify you from it.
• Vercel, my hosting provider, may log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, status code) for up to 30 days as part of normal infrastructure operation.

What I don't collect

• No personal profile.
• No account or login.
• No cookies beyond what's essential for the app to function.
• No targeted ads.
• No selling of data. Ever.

Your photos

This is the important one. When you upload a photo, it is sent directly to Anthropic's API (the AI that powers Miranda's responses) and is not stored anywhere — not by me, not on any server I control. Once you receive your verdict, the photo is gone. I never see it, I never save it, I never have access to it.

Your verdict

Verdicts are not stored on any server. When you share a verdict, the text is encoded directly in the URL. Anyone with that link can read it, so only share it if you're comfortable with that.

Third-party services

• Anthropic — processes your photo and generates the verdict. Their privacy policy applies to how they handle API requests: anthropic.com/privacy
• Vercel — hosts the app and the serverless function. Their privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Miranda AI is a satirical entertainment tool powered by AI. It is not professional fashion advice. The character and persona used in this app are fictional and satirical in nature. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any film, studio, or rights holder.

Using it

Have fun with it. Don't use it to target or humiliate real people without their consent. Don't try to break it.

Your photos

They belong to you. Submitting one gives temporary permission for it to pass through Anthropic's API to generate your verdict — that's the only thing it's used for.

Honesty about what this is

This is an independent project built by one person. I keep it running because I care about it. It may have bugs, go down occasionally, or not exist forever.

Changes

If anything here changes, the updated version will be posted with a new date.
